1. Accepting these terms

By creating an eKitaab account or using any part of the platform you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.

We may update these terms as the product changes. Material updates will be announced by email and on this page before they take effect.

2. Your account

You must give accurate details when you register and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.

One account is meant for one reader. Sharing login details with other people is not allowed and may lead to suspension.

3. Purchases and payments

Prices are shown in Pakistani Rupees and include any applicable platform charges and taxes displayed at checkout.

Payment is taken at the time of order. Paperback orders may also carry shipping charges that vary with the delivery method you choose.

4. Your licence to read

Buying an eBook gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to read it on your own devices through eKitaab apps.

Copying, reselling, uploading or redistributing our titles is not permitted and breaches the rights of the authors and publishers we work with.

5. Refunds and cancellations

Digital titles can be refunded within seven days of purchase if you have not downloaded or streamed a significant part of the book.

Paperback orders can be cancelled before dispatch. Once shipped, our returns process applies.

6. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, scrape or reverse engineer the platform, and do not upload content that is unlawful or infringes someone else's rights.

We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service, and we will tell you why when we do.

7. Liability

We work hard to keep eKitaab available, but the service is provided as is. We are not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the platform.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
